Rainy Day Substitutes work as childcare providers in many different environments. We provide childcare to Family home daycares, Daycare centers, Private homes, and Corporations and conventions during special functions. Working as a Rainy Day Substitute, you will determine your work schedule based on our client's needs and your availability. You are not obligated to accept any job opportunity we present. Rainy Day operates 24 hours per day, seven days per week.

Baby-Sitters

Interested in making money and taking care of children? Then you have come to the best place to find a job doing both. All of our baby-sitters are age 14-18, must attend a baby-sitting course, and are encouraged to become CPR and First Aid certified. We act on your behalf as a baby-sitting referral service and this means that you get paid directly by the client. All initial interviews must be conducted with a parent in attendance for persons under age 16. 16 and older are encouraged to have parents or a friend during the initial client contact. The application is easy to fill out, however, you must be able to provide at least 3 personal or work related references. Professional Providers

Rainy Day Professional Providers work as substitutes in many different environments. We provide services to Family-Home Daycares, Daycare Centers, Private Homes, and to Corporations for Conferences and Conventions and Hotel services. Working as a Rainy Day Substitute, you will determine your work schedule based on our client's needs and your availability. All Professional childcare providers are required to be state and/or city licensed, be CPR and First Aid certified, and participate in ongoing early childhood and development training. You are not obligated to accept any job opportunity we present. Rainy Day operates 24- hours per day, seven days per week.

Professional Provider Application

Nannys

Individuals interested in becoming certified nannies either locally or throughout the United States can apply to become one of our unique and widely respected childcare providers in a private home setting. These individuals must have previously been certified or intend to be certified in a nanny training course. Pay is negotiated directly with the client and given directly to the nanny. Those who wish to provide childcare in an exclusive setting are encouraged to contact us about providing exceptional long-term quality childcare either as a live-in or live-out provider. Benefits may include but are not limited to: Room and board, vacation pay, on the job childcare skill building, and excellent pay.
